The last few editions of Thursday Hobby Focus have been expetionally large, so this week, let’s go extra small, with Steve’s 3D printed Dogs of War army for the community led Warmaster Revolution game.
Featuring all those famous regiments of renown that you know and love, this 10mm version of the classic Warhammer army was an absolute joy to paint, even if it came at the cost of a set of prescription glasses….
Led by it’s mighty heroes, lovingly crafted in the image of Borgio the Besieger, Lucrezzia Belladonna, Asarnil the Dragonlord and many more, these mercenary generals form the basis of the all important command system used in Warmaster Revolution.
But where would an army be without it’s backbone of pikes and crossbows, and the all important Paymaster? These units are every bit as vital as the general’s that command the army, and in 10mm scale, they’re not particularly onerous to paint in quantity!
The elite units are where the real fun is at, though! Mercenary Ogres, Chaos Marauders, Knights, Slayer Pirates and Assassins are just some of the units that bring unique flavour to the force!
Rounding out the army are some Birdmen, Raiding Skinks on Cold Ones, Giants of the misty shores of Albion and yet more pikes and crossbows (you really can’t have too many).
Oh how could I forget… ‘Member Galloper Guns? Those things were busted! Hehe.
