In another customer edition of Thursday Hobby Focus, we see Paul show off what a hobbyist can acheive when all he has is a dream, and £15,000,000.
“This is where it started for me, I collected when I was 13. I sold my armies off and then came back with a vengeance, it seems. Now I have a MUCH bigger collection then ever had before.
This is about 12000 points of pink army goodness.” Says Paul, regarding his love for 8th Edition Horde-hammer.
“This originally started with the chaos dwarves, one thing I learned while collectingis that I don’t like following the norm, hence I went for chaos dwarves following Slaanesh. Not going to knock hashuut and the lads gorgeous red chaos dwarves, that army was posted few weeks ago. You’ll never forget an army of Little pink squats marching towards you, or firing pink rockets at you?” Oo-er Missus.
“The grand master plan for this force is adding warriors, beasts and deamons. Hence the warrior of chaos, what’s hordehammer without a horde, yes that is a brick of 40 chaos warriors with converted halberds, and a unit of 40 chaos marauders! All the chaos warriors have had the helms altered. No horny jokes! Added plumes and top knots to all of them, most the warriors weapons are dark elf halberds.”
“What’s a warrior army without its Lords, with the likes of pretty boy sigvald and limited edition games day models I’ve collected over the years that have sat gathering dust. It also features a converted deamon prince, that begin life as a Deceiver, with snippy snips ready to give anyone the CLAMPS who says that he isn’t pretty!”
Paul’s army is as glorious as it is ridiculous, and we’re most honoured to have had it in for photographing and fun! If you have a force you’re interested in showing off, drop us a line or holler at us in store and we’ll see about getting in displayed!
